Concert: 7:30 p.m. – 9 p.m.


This is the culminating event of the 2009 Roswell Roots Festival and will include the RUMC Sanctuary Choir, Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, and First Baptist Church of Roswell. The Kenyan American Community Choir (Marrietta, GA), which performs traditional hymns in Kiswahili wearing their traditional garb, will be featured.

Choir call time for Friday concert: 7 p.m. in the Choir Room

RUMC Sanctuary Choir – Love Divine, All Loves Excelling (Wilberg); Let All the World in Ev’ry Corner Sing (Vaughan Williams)
Combined choirs – Lift Every Voice and Sing (hymnal); Battle Hymn of the Republic (Wilhousky)

Note that the usual Wednesday choir rehearsal on February 25 is cancelled in consideration of the added Thursday rehearsal and Friday concert.
