Starting May 6 — New Choir Call Time: 7:00pm

Back in 2008 a task force was created to streamline Wednesday evenings at RUMC. One of the goals of this committee was to organize Wednesday evening events into set time blocks. Since this was going to impact our scheduling, we conducted a survey a few months back to enlist the choir's opinion on changing the Wednesday call time. The response was overwhelmingly in favor of the change. Although the church wide activation of this plan will not be fully functional until the fall, the choir has the opportunity to go ahead and implement the time change before then. As a result, starting Wednesday, May 6, rehearsals will be held regularly from 7:00-8:45p.m.

We realize that some individuals will have to be late due to work or Praise Choir. However, Michael is quite understanding of the situation. As a result, he has offered to rehearse the Sunday anthems after 7:30 so that anyone having difficulty getting to choir at 7p.m. will still be able to rehearse that week's anthem.

We hope this is a positive change for most everyone. In addition to aiding choir member schedules, we believe this will benefit the choir in many ways (i.e. more after choir socials, encouraging families with children to join us, and easier access to WNO supper).
