B.Y O. D. on Saturday, October 3rd

No, I didn’t get my tang tungled, and it’s not a typo. BYOD means Bring Your Own Dinner. On Saturday October 3rd, the first Saturday of October, the City of Roswell is sponsoring a concert at Riverside Park, 575 Riverside Road. It’s FREE!!

Come join your friends from choir and bring a picnic dinner, BYOD. You can BYOB too, but you will want to pour any adult beverages into a plastic cup. Bring a lawn chair and/or a blanket.

Wear your brightest tropical clothes, and don’t forget your parrot hat because the group, A1A, is a Jimmy Buffet tribute band. They’ll play all of your favorite Jimmy Buffet songs and they put on a great show besides the great music. Here is a link to their website: www.a1a-live.com

Make sure to come way early. The best advice we have gotten is that you will need to be there at least by 5:00 for this 7:30 concert. Lawn space and particularly parking space goes very fast. You might want to bring an appetizer to share and we can all stroll from mini-table to cooler-table to sample the goodies.
