MOS completes its twentieth season celebration with this captivating concert of favorites from the world of musical theatre. This popular art form will be celebrated as we feature selections from many of our best-loved musicals. Rodgers & Hammerstein, Lerner & Loewe, Stephen Sondheim, and Andrew Lloyd Webber will all be represented, along with countless other composers and lyricists who helped make the past 100 years a golden age of popular music.
Selections will include:
“Somewhere” from West Side Story
“Climb Ev’ry Mountain” from The Sound of Music
“There is Nothin’ Like a Dame” from South Pacific
“Till There Was You” from The Music Man
“Oklahoma!” from Oklahoma!
“The Music of the Night” from The Phantom of the Opera
“All the Things You Are” from Very Warm for May
“Stouthearted Men” from The New Moon
“I Love a Piano” from Stop! Look! Listen!
“They Call the Wind Maria” from Paint Your Wagon
Advance tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students and seniors. |
